Library & Documentation for the open economy

The idea here is to gather and sort all the documents, videos, websites we have about Open money, metacurrency, flowplace, open economy, free currencies and try to do a nice how-to, or an introduction to all this terms

hum. I didn't do anything yet. Maybe, before beginning one, we could check if there is not already one somewhere?

Great idea zoupic, I think that would be more efficient. Anyway, we need something to start with to make the list attractive (if we start with the big project, the other one will want to follow the path) and if we want the tags to be pertinent, we should think about it before we let it flow. When you say "we propose a page..." do you already have this page ? if not do you plan to do it ? if not do you know how this can happen and where ?

As you speak Robin, I'm switching my point of view. Because there will be a tsunami of projects, instead of listing and reporting them, we could inverse: make them emergent. We propose a page where they are listed, with website, and a category or tags if they can be define / categorize, and we offer the structure: people come and add their project / experience and sort them to appear next to similar projects and be able to connect to share similar experiences.

Thank you for this nice synthetic overview. It helps to see the situation of the Transitionner. What does the color means ? I see that this documentation work can lead to synthetic overviews, tutorials and other things that give a better learning curve. Is there, somewhere a list of links or something like a database that helps to sort and see the existing project in the field of open currency. It seems that a lot of people want to start their own project and maybe it is part of the liberal process behind open money, but oragnising a database could clarify the situation (even if everyone know that open money is everywhere) and help us to monitor what's really happening and where it is happening.. Task could be :
1- see the existing list of project and gather the list somewhere (for example in a dedicated discussion)
2- merge a list and add new project we are aware of
3- try to see what are the goals of the differents projects (for example with some sort of brainstorming)

Do you feel this is feasible ? useless ? it is allready done in this ning ? does anyone have some feeds to start with ?

Here is an overview of the free currency environment.

It is a good start for everybody that comes here to get to know the different entities that we are and how they are related to another. Feedbacks are welcome!

Thank you Zoupic, now I see the idea and I also have the answer to my (badly formulated useless) question: the place for all the discussions around the content and the structure of the wiki section about the "library" is here! :)

Hello Robin, I don't exactly understand your question.

There are plenty of ressources everywhere, on the different websites + the different webpages of the different projects.

The idea here is to organise the links to make it more simple for somebody that have no clue to evolve from 0 to a complete understanding.

The perfect guide in 10 level to get to understand free currencies, with the good links to the already existing ressources.

Hi Zoupic, I think your idea is very good. What do we have for discussions/ construction/ validation of a contribution to the wiki ?

Idée : May be the best thing is just to take the wikipedia format and write a few pages there :

- open money
- free currencies
- flowplace

using and respecting their presentation might structure our mess of information.

What do you think?
