What would life be like if there was no money?

"Thank you! Very impressive, to hear the words of real people.  This video gives me the hope that, through many people admitting the obvious truths around us, we can all actively transition to participation in a better world.  And without…"

What is my interest in collective intelligence, wisdom and consciousness? (please provide answers, even in your original language, as this is a condition to become part of this community. Names only will not be accepted)
I find it interesting that things like social structure, value, and language, all of which consist of the personal interpretation of shared information, can be so incredibly influential in human existence. Things which are mostly or entirely restricted to the human psyche often create and define the very world in which we believe we live. This shared world, built on axiomatic assumptions and interpretation of past experience is often more "real" than the physical domain. All the perceived "properties" of reality; rightness, wrongness, beauty, selfness; they are the foundations upon which our perceived world exists, our politics, and our economy.
If wisdom is self-awareness, then it would be wise of us to deeply consider these conceptual foundations upon which we build our world; perhaps we would discover many fatal flaws in our assumptions about one another which would become obvious upon a little well-directed analysis. Or perhaps, the most fatal of all those flaws is the assumption that our ideas & fabrications are more important than this planet & life itself.
About me... Share what you feel inspired to share. Need inspiration? Here are some questions: How did I arrive to TheTransitioner? What are my most essential values? What makes me get out of bed in the morning? What are my dreams? What do I want to accomplish in my life?
I have never truly been content with the world (of humans). The natural world is a different issue entirely; I frequently find a great peace, a centered balance in immersing myself in nature. But humans, and the social world, is what truly gives me hope. I believe that humans can expect much more of themselves than they do today. That humanity has been through many dark times, but that today, and in the near future, we will begin to understand ourselves, that we really are not lonesome eternal souls temporarily fixed to unique bodies, but one incredible part of infinity. We are the part of this incalculable universe which experiences itself, and the incredible things around us; without us, nothing would have a name or a meaning.
I see an awareness of these truths building in the people around me. The more people I meet, the more common it is to discuss the future and things which are possible.
I am a very driven person; and this, in part, is what drives me. I want to help this change that is happening to us, in whatever way I can. I am happy to be alive; I am ecstatic to be aware.
What are the gifts, skills and expertise I would like to share in this community?
Perhaps there will be a moment, when my talent as a musician will be useful to this community. I certainly hope so. In the mean time, I have (much like everyone else here) a unique perspective through which I hope that other people will develop a more complete understanding of the challenges and goals set forward by Transitioner.
What are my current intentions, needs, burning questions, quests?
My quest: to contribute, in whatever way is presented by opportunity and circumstance, to whatever it is that requires contribution most.

Current intentions: to immerse myself in the "new world"- to transition myself from internal monologue to global dialogue.

Needs: The one thing that had, for so long, seemed to be hindering progress, but obviously has always been the source of all progress; other people.

Questions: Who are you? Do you really want believe what you believe? Are you aware of what you are doing & how you are doing it? Is it a good thing to do?
What is my current occupation?
On the largest scale, I am a thinker and debater. Nearly equal to this, I am a musician. For survival in the currently dominant debt-based economic structure, I am an architectural consultant & acoustician.

Hello Albert and welcome!  The community I've found here is wonderful, with people on a wide variety of different paths which suit them as individuals, but with all paths leading toward a shared goal - greater consciousness and connection with each other and our environment. Music is a wonderful language that speaks beyond the barriers of language, and is a wonderful gift.

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Maggie

Welcome to TheTransitioner Albert,

Reading you touches me deeply. I resonate with you that WE 'human beings' are the way in which the universe looks at itself. We can reflect our experience and expand consciousness through our presence and action. And we have been called to create the future through the connection with the cosmic impulse of the universe, which in essence is love.

I am curious Albert. I went to your website and read a bit about the declarative credit system. I love the intention. Its totally aligned with metacurrency. I wanted to read the story about what brought you to the realization about money, about new capitalism, about internet-based, opensource.  I am a person of stories. I am curious.

Welcome Albert! I hope here you will not just find ideas to share, but actions to build as well. Keep tuned!
