Hello Monsieur Lietaer,
It's a pleasure to see you here. I've been following you and quoting you many many times. I need to read the book future of money to be uptodate, I already really enjoyed your white book about the crisis and I often take your example between efficiency and resilience as a metaphore with a man with just one leg. You've probably read or met Paul Jorion, I'm reading a lot of his work, but he doesn't seems sensibilized to complementary money, I don't know why. Sure he reads Gesell and the melting money but he didn't give yet any credit to my mails about it. I don't know what arguments to use to make him realize of the power of complementary money, if you have any ideas..

Thank you for your answer. For sure it helps. Nothing better than crossing well informed/concious point of view to get an idea about technical/complex issues.

Just a comment to add. the the LEAP 2020 page I've pointed explains only the consequences of the fall of the global financial system, but doesn't really present their arguments, which are mainly based on a soon dollar crash partly caused by China's capital escape...

more information disseminated on their site.

Hope you'll find time to have a look.
I wish you all the good I know (and I even the unknown)

Hello Mr Lietaer.

I'm having a first walk around in thetransitioner community, and I'm glad to find you here. I'm not (yet ) an expert of your work, that I've discovered a few days ago. I've met your name in Patrick Viveret's book pourquoi ça ne va pas plus mal.
I'm trying to make me an opinion of the current financial crisis; and there's two questions I'd like to ask you:
1) Where're could I find a comprehensive assessment of the world amount of money ( répartition en devises, en degré de liquidité, en localisation géographique, en usage, sorry but my english is weak), if such a synthesis exists.
2) What do you think of the analysis of the European think-tank LEAP 2020 which announced the USA bankruptcy for this summer and the dislocation for the global financial system for the beginning of 2010?

Their arguments seems to good to me, and quite coherent with Patrick Artus explanations in Globalisation le pire est à venir. But I'm not an expert, so I would appreciate to know your opinion.
