Collective Intelligence Seminar 19-21 Jan. 2010 at NY, upstate NY

January 19, 2010 to January 21, 2010
Dear Friends,As Fernanda Ibarra and Jean-François Noubel will be in the US during the month of January 2010, they are considering giving a collective intelligence seminar. Dates would be Jan 19-21 (3 full days). It would take place somewhere between NY city and upstate NY. The final location will depend on the number of participants, and the place we find (there are many possibilities at this present moment). The purpose of our Collective Intelligence seminars is to share our understanding and…See More

Library & Documentation for the open economy

The idea here is to gather and sort all the documents, videos, websites we have about Open money, metacurrency, flowplace, open economy, free currencies and try to do a nice how-to, or an introduction to all this terms

This movie is like Koyaanisqatsi times Al Gore. Beautiful, tragic cinematography paired with a stern, poetic narrative- this film is meant to wake people up and remind us what a beautiful gift we have to be alive!!Streaming in "HD" on youtube, unfortunately it cannot be embedded: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCUSee More

Building supportive counsels of individuals to lay a strong foundation of compassion and collaboration.

Unlocking artistry, intuition and passion: Self-Actualization for Collective Resilience

Posted on April 14, 2009 at 12:50am 2 Comments

I focused much of my undergraduate studies toward understanding the physical strategies of sustainable development: organic agriculture, green building, renewable energy, etc. I then began searching for the political and economic mechanisms to implement this, so I studied green business and collaborative community development, and developed an organic student-run cafe on campus.

As I delve deeper into "sustainability," I begin to ask, "What aspects of human culture should we work… Continue

Hi.

This is the closet I have come to becoming a part of this movement. I have an awesome idea called ErgoFlow which could help to make it happen.

The only problem is this... I am in a really bad situation.  No time to really explain it, but please check out this campaign I started and support it, because I am tired of all my talent going to waste.

I need a break, and the end goal of my campaign and its multiple parts is to get into a business incubatar program, or join some other part of this movement, so I can turn my ideas, and help other people turn thier ideas, into platforms.

If people help me, I can truly, truly, help them, and this entire movement to take another step. I'm 18, going on 19, but please look past my age. My life is also at stake here, this is not just about me wanting to start up a business, or get a role in this movement.

Please bear with this. Here is the link... I really do think that enough people will ban together, and pull through. I'm doing this all on my own, but this is a culture and movement I really want to become a part of.

Someone at least comment on my page, answer back, or add me on skype or something. I refuse the option of me ending up falling through the cracks, I know what I can do, and my willpower.

I am kind of idealistic, but I know the meaning of struggle. I know the light at the end of the tunnel is coming, and I will achieve it, one way or another. But in my case, crowdfunding campaigns and networking with this culture, will be the only out. Wish me luck.

Thanks ahead of time.

P.S. I got a fro.

Very inspring! I really enjoyed the sequence and how they created space. I love the name for the GaiaLogues, honoring our sweet Gaia. Open space is a great social technology for self-organization and voicing what we care for. I am also a fan of world café. The combination of both is like combining vitamin C and E. They synergize incredibly. Visual graphic facilitation for any of this technologies is quite a harvest that lets the whole feel the work as it progresses.

Jean-François and I are dreaming of doing a series of events called "Concerts for consciousness". We voice it as journey to the top of a mountain. Fun and challenging. Celebrate life and practice into the possibility for collective wisdom. Creating a field of resonance with music, dance, art, senses, nature, food and then going into dialogue. Playing with the masculine and the feminine. Intuition and directionality. Sounds like you are doing it!

The work of integral communities is fully available to anyone that wants to use any part of it. It has been 2 yrs of research, visiting communities, learning the details of the integral (AQAL Ken Wilber) model and loving the project. Its our pleasure to share. :-)

Welcome to TheTransitioner network Jay. I worked for two years in a model for Integral communities based on the Integral model of Ken Wilber and collective intelligence. We decided to repattern our model, after the crisis, and we are still there. When we began to repattern we knew that the center of our work should be focused in resilience. Here is our work:
ICON and a research we did to identify the forces which support or thrive communities ICON global

We have a friend, who hopefully will join TT network soon, Steven Trevino who focuses in global resilience.

Can you say more on how you would want to incorporate art work with reslient community?

Thanks for your comment Jay :-)

ok, some german intentional communites...

Here is the ecovillage 7Linden, where i lived for a year.

Then there is the ZEGG community in Belzig, where i will go for Easter Trance Dance today :-)
Lebenspark Tollense here.
Lebensgarten Steyerberg here
and Stamm Füssen here.

if you want to find more intentional communites in europe, here is a great Directory called eurotopia, published by a group from 7Linden.

And a nice guy called Henrique Vedana (in Sao Paulo currently) pops into my mind - as far as i know he will do his final KaosPilot project on ecovillages...

Hope this can give some inspirations for your mum´s visit in germany? If you need more i can connect you further.

Let me know about your Ecovillage Design Education plans, than i can connect you to the right people :-)

warmly,
Benjamin
