- I'm working on tools to help improve world living standards, and provide improved socio-economic systems, by allowing people to act as social entrepreneurs, in creative and educational endeavors, collaborating and investing in each other.

- I arrived at Transitioner through Jean-François Noubel, who I was led to by Denise Sati, who showed me Flowplace. She showed me that since she knew I was making an alternative currency system, as part of my tool set. What I want to accomplish in my life is to be a significant part in helping humanity transition out of the problems of history, and in to a new paradigm of universal abundance and unlimited opportunity for everyone.
- What are the gifts, skills and expertise I would like to share in this community?
- I hope my work will be useful to others here, and give them tools to further their projects.
- What are my current intentions, needs, burning questions, quests?
- I intend to get Selfport on the market. Right now, my needs mainly revolve around software development. But I will soon need legal help, and/or partnership. When we go live, or shortly before, a big help would also be to find synergies with other projects (ideally they can use my tools to further their work, in order to demo how this can be done for others.) Also, I'd be happy to have a discussion about how open and or alternative currencies can work in ways that are complimentary with existing systems, including income tax.
- What is my current occupation?
- Developing Selfport.com, a business approach to improving socio-economic conditions world wide. The theme of the product is "an entrepreneurial tool set."
Selfport could be characterized as philanthropy for profit, and has elements in common with Kiva, Prosper, Facebook, the idea of "social business" as defined by Muhammad Yunnis, or social entrepreneurialism, as seen through the Skoll Foundation, Ashoka, Endeavor, etc.
All that said, our first products will revolve around entertainment, and look more like American Idol than some stodgy do-gooder charity. After all, we are moving towards a golden age in which Kurzweil's "law of accelerating returns" will allow for a higher standard of living for everyone that has ever been experienced by anyone, even today.
In this world soon to come, creativity and imagination will translate immediately through technology to experiential products (a la Second Life, full sensory vr, and tools like emachineshop morphing in to assemblers.)
And Selfport is designed to help set the stage, along with lots of epi-phenomena of technology, from web 2.0 to nano, giving beings the socio-economic paradigm to rapidly improve their lives, and our environment and world, through mutual benefit.

Its very inspiring to think the flows of wealth that will spark from the freedom from the scarce money. Such bliss to be able to participate in this movement.
Are people in Santa Cruz aware of this? What is the energy there?

I would appreciate to know more about the currency you are designing. Jean-François always says that communities don´t need a currency but a set of currencies, an ecology that allows them to generate healthy flows of wealth (tradeable, measurable and aknowledgable). What is your persepective?
We have been very busy last weeks in the flowplace and the Mexico seminar in september, which has made it very challenging to garden the network. I know more people will infuse energy in the space when the flowplace goes beta. Can´t wait!
To answer your question in my profile. I haven´t seen Rupert Sheldrake in flesh. I have seen the man through his work and thoughts.
