What is my interest in collective intelligence, wisdom and consciousness? (please provide answers, even in your original language, as this is a condition to become part of this community. Names only will not be accepted)
It is an aim the we, the whole humans, need to reach.
It has already started but now has to spread.
I just want to contribute to it !
It is just the pursuit of utopias that become one day realities:
"We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools."
Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 - 1968)
About me... Share what you feel inspired to share. Need inspiration? Here are some questions: How did I arrive to TheTransitioner? What are my most essential values? What makes me get out of bed in the morning? What are my dreams? What do I want to accomplish in my life?
What most people need to learn in life is how to love people and use things instead of using people and loving things.
"Meaning is found in discovering our place of service to the whole.”
What are the gifts, skills and expertise I would like to share in this community?
My abilities to connect:
- ideas with people,
- ideas & concept between them
- people with other people
My intuitions & enthousiasm
My abilities to listen & to ask
My knowledge of how big companies work
My abilities to convince when i "feel" the thruth
What are my current intentions, needs, burning questions, quests?
I think i might be helpful in the Campus Area whenever it's time for it ...
I wish to be with you in a next seminar...
What is my current occupation?
Learning & discovering
Sharing
Explaining and showing paths
Taking care of my 2 kids
Doing consulting missions to earn "traditional money"
Trying to do those missions in harmony with the former occupations !

Harnessing Crowds: Mapping the Genome of Collective Intelligence

I found this paper from the MIT very interesting:

What do you think ? should'nt we try to challenge the proposed model by building the transitioner genome for our collective intelligence ?

Hi.

This is the closet I have come to becoming a part of this movement. I have an awesome idea called ErgoFlow which could help to make it happen.

The only problem is this... I am in a really bad situation.  No time to really explain it, but please check out this campaign I started and support it, because I am tired of all my talent going to waste.

I need a break, and the end goal of my campaign and its multiple parts is to get into a business incubatar program, or join some other part of this movement, so I can turn my ideas, and help other people turn thier ideas, into platforms.

If people help me, I can truly, truly, help them, and this entire movement to take another step. I'm 18, going on 19, but please look past my age. My life is also at stake here, this is not just about me wanting to start up a business, or get a role in this movement.

Please bear with this. Here is the link... I really do think that enough people will ban together, and pull through. I'm doing this all on my own, but this is a culture and movement I really want to become a part of.

Someone at least comment on my page, answer back, or add me on skype or something. I refuse the option of me ending up falling through the cracks, I know what I can do, and my willpower.

I am kind of idealistic, but I know the meaning of struggle. I know the light at the end of the tunnel is coming, and I will achieve it, one way or another. But in my case, crowdfunding campaigns and networking with this culture, will be the only out. Wish me luck.

Thanks ahead of time.

P.S. I got a fro.

Hey Marc. This is a cool article about ning vs buddypress. If you install it I am up for the testing!

Hi Marc. thanks for the comments. Can you be more specific about the nav bar? Are you talking about the top one of the left one? What is that you see that might make it look better?

It has been quite challenging to install the buttons since Ning compresses them. The quality keeps diminishing no matter how clear they are in the original design. The top bar is far from finished. I am working to improve it until a designer shows up. We are very open to collaboration and listening to comments that will help us with the desirability and usability of the site. Its not in its launching version yet.

I agree that the "about the transitioner" has no reason to be there. Its a ning thing. We can get it out paying so we decided to wait a bit until we can work with the CSS.

Working with Ning is the first stage of our development. Paralell to developing the community we are currently in research to decide which SN system we want to empower and co-develop. We are doing research for Ruby on rails. Our currencies system, marketplace, projectmanagment tool are all in Ruby on rails.

The reasons we chose ning are shared here:
http://snipurl.com/cy6s7

We also developed a comparison table, which is opened to anyone who wants to complement it. Please feel free to review and complement with your own knowledge and experience. Its part of our collective research.

Welcome to TheTransitioner people network Marc. Thanks for your responses in the profile. We follow each other in twitter and now its great to have the opportunity to participate in another field. Nurture life.

Thank you for your willigness to participate in the Campus. I will let you know more about it as we travel in this new vessel.

Right now we haven´t formally launched. We are open to synchronicities and the people that arrive now are very welcome. We are currently working hard to be able to fully display our intentions and open the field for play.

How did you find the people network?
