You ask about documentation about the work on integral communities. The work I did began in 2007. We had evolved some of our ideas yet the main principles remain the same. My partner JP RIco, has engaged fully with the integral community ever since and I went deeply into free currencies. Yet, as I contribute to this new forming community in Xico, Veracruz I am still amazed by the beauty of the work we accomplished.
ICONglobal wordpress is a blog we created with the responses of a survey we applied based on integral methodology. The integral institute of sustainability contributed to the survey and 18 people with a wide experience in community living answered to it. It was not an easy survey. People had to invest about 2 hours to fill it.
After the survey Juan Pablo did a thesis on integral community design with my contribution as coach. It was a big task to make sense of the answers and make a coherent whole taking it to its next level. The result was the thesis you can download. The whole ICON website has a lot of information about our process and some gems like the vision, mision which I still love a lot. During our research we realized that every community needs to have a HUB where people learn locally, share regionally and globally. We called this COWL (Collective wisdom laboratory). We did a whole research about its components and model to be sustainable and bring wealth to the community.

I am very resonant to your dream. I have been researching about what would make an integral community for some years now. My partner and I did a beautiful research with about 18 people living in communities to find out what makes a community thrive and what creates barriers. You might appreciate it.
I find resilience one of the top qualities of a healthy system. I am very interested in tools for resilience. Currently I am part of a local community where I am working in implementing tools and processes for collective intelligence and integral evolution in many levels. I am also buying a land with a birthing intentional community where we are designing a currency constellation for land adquisition, collaboration and measuring actions as well as other kinds of wealth. This community is moving around permaculture principles. Personally I don´t know much about permaculture, yet I am infused with the bug since I have seen the flower and found much resonance with it. I am in learning process.
