Hi Miguel, I didn´t have the time to meet you when you came to Mexico. I am hoping we get a chance to talk about what you see about Mexico in Economía solidaria. As you may know by now my work is close to Jean-François. We are developing the flowplace.org and metacurrency.org

I am working on the social field in Tepoztlán. Preparing the fertile human conditions to implement some currencies in the near future.

Hi Miguel,
Thank you for the proposition of creation of a B2B complementary currency system in Kobe! Maybe I can exchange with this man, to present him the RES system, and to see if it is of any interest for him. Then, let's see...!!

Jct: Anyway, I'll take their IOUs for accommodations in Canada even if I have to print them up for them.

Miguel Yasuyuki Hirota: "I don't think Japanese time banks are open to other countries. The vast majority of users speak Japanese only and for them it's far beyond their capacity to be linked internationally..."
Jct: Not too far beyond their capacity to swap accommodations with other nations as I have. In 1999, I paid for 39/40 nights in Europe with a timebank IOU for a night back in Canada worth 5 Hours. They could too, easily.

Jct: Always glad to hear about Timebanking in Japan. Any idea if they're getting ready to intertrade with the rest of the world?

Free currencies are not a social activism thing, and it doesn't require political approbation. It will just happen, just like the internet.

Shanghai: we would need to know more. So far we are not in the capacity to disperse ourselves in organizing events that cost a lot in travel and people's time. We need things that are financed and clearly asked by other organizations. Is this the case?

Hi Miguel, good to see you there! Tell me if you come to Europe one of these days. I have no plan to come to Japan for the moment. FYI, I am working on RES project, a B2B complementary currency system based in Belgium, that we are implementing in France.
気を付けて!またね!

Welcome Miguel, so nice to have you here! I hope we will see each other someday, and that Japan will open up to free currencies (and not just complementary currencies).
