I'm involved in projects that involve social change using generative methods:
- Real Conversations - we're a group of 16 entrepreneurs hosting Real Conversations in Health
- Knowing Our Community - we're exploring possibilities for greater participatory democracy at the municipal level
- Awakening the Dreamer - I'm one of their facilitators
- Art of Hosting - I'm part of the Art of Hosting Community of Practice here in Ottawa
- Peace and Environment Resource Centre - I'm on the board
About me... Share what you feel inspired to share. Need inspiration? Here are some questions: How did I arrive to TheTransitioner? What are my most essential values? What makes me get out of bed in the morning? What are my dreams? What do I want to accomplish in my life?
A friend from my Knowing Our Community project directed me to this site. And when I saw the Upward Spiral video, I was captivated -- stayed up late to watch. The possibility to live on this earth in more generative ways exist. The solutions to all of our "problems" are already known. We simply need to accept and enable them. Or maybe all we need to do is to remember......
What are the gifts, skills and expertise I would like to share in this community?
I understand how seeming opposites are key to attaining wholeness.

And I'm looking at helping to set up a TimeBank here in Ottawa.

Welcome to TheTransitioner Pamela. I am always pleased when art processes facilitators come into this network because I have witness the power of good hosting, harvesting and facilitation for collective intelligence.

 

The Upward spiral is a key movie for me. I am currently reading Paul Krafel book 'Seeing nature' its a masterpiece in regards to how this man observes life.
