I said exactly this to Jean Claude, that he could come here and help our government that had already openned their mind to this kind of new economy.
I really think it is easier when you get support from the government. Jean Claude told me that he is already helping our people to come to this incredible success with the free currency. He is one of this unkown angel who is extending their knowlege and time to help others.
Anytime you want to come here and see how all this is working in these 60 cities, let me know.
Thanks for your reply.
Ely
I am translating the ROLE OF ARCHITECTURE IN HUMAN RESOURCES write by Jean Claude Noubel. It is a very profound new science and I fear it will be very difficult to undersatand and become able to aplly it in our difficulties here.
I would love to read some coments from Fernanda Ibarra. The four quadrants how to aplly it when the difficulties comes from cultural diferences that creates a mutual distrust between we that want to help and the beneficiary of that help? (local people)
Fernanda what do you think?
Let me first explain the free currency situation in Brazil;
Our governement protect and estimulate the grow of Social Banks in Brazil. We must open a OSCIP, a kind of NGO with the participation of our governement, and you must have the okay form the local politics.
There are 60 cities in Brazil using the free currency and Social Banks are oppening everyday.
Our ecovillage is situated near a small village populated with 240 agrucultural families, who take their money from milk. They energy (light) is very expensive and the price for the milk very cheap. So they have a very poor economy and they will end selling their land to find a better work.
People form this local are culturally very untrust, they do not trust people from outside their community. We are aware of all this and to star we had a meeting with the local mayor and openned a lecture with a specialist in social economy and try to explain the money and how its energy is not closed inside our commun economy.
Many came to thar meeting but we felt they are interested but very cautious, thinking we could open a Social bank and take their money away. They definitevely do not trust strangers.
We asked for help to some brazilian specialist and they told us our place is very difficult and that they had failed in the past in theur intention to create the frre currency.
So right now, we are talking to people person to person, and planing to begin with a ex-change event (I don´t know how to write it in English) it is an event that people ex-change products, old things they have in their home like clothes, CDS, books etc.
Our impression is that if they can earn money with this event, we could begin the preparation for the free currency and the Social Bank and get their confidence in all this new economy.
We received a booklet explain all we must do to succeed in that event, and right now we are sheduling the ex-change event.
We do not have any money to start all this, we are still paying the buildings of our ecovillage, but we have faith, courage and we will start.
It is very difficult to understand deeply the necessity to change the currency. It tooks two years of study for me to accept the idea. Imagine how can uneducated people understand quickly what it all this about?
I think this is something we must do slowly and that it must start from below, the people interest must do it, not someone from above.
I came to your group to inspire myself and learn more waht to do and discuss with you and others what ideas are good or will not suceed.
I tried to get in touch with others who openned their own bank, they did not respond to may messages and I live at the ecovillage far from the big cities.
Anyone is this group could help us??
Thanks and light!
Ely our site www.viversimples.com.br and the NING web ecovilaviversimples.ning.com (we are discussing all this in a group in this NING web.) Sorry for my english.
One of the parts I am deeply enjoying about gardening thetransitioner (TT) meadow is that coherence seems to be appearing by individuals taking responsibility of their experience and right placement within the community. I do want to support coherence, to empower it through enabling, opening lines and forces of collaboration, communication inside the network. These is in total alignment with your current intentions and the creation of the flowplace (and metacurrency projects where I am intimate with). I would so much appreciate your feedback, insights, visions on coherence and the ways to support the values you express.
Thank your for supporting thetransitioner events within the nest of cohessence. Much gratitude for the kid within you that holds such high intentions of the good, true and beautiful for the world.
